Description: Randy Hood was named head coach on Apr. 29, 2019, becoming just the fourth head coach in the history of the Seahawk Baseball program.
Hood completed his third season as head coach in 2022 and his 21st overall with the program. During his tenure, the Seahawks have won six Colonial Athletic Association tournament championships, nine CAA regular season titles and made 10 appearances in the NCAA Regionals.
UNCW finished tied for second in the CAA in 2022 with a 15-9 record and was 31-24 overall. The Seahawks remained the only program in the history of the CAA to compete in all 36 conference tournaments.
