Description: כָּל אִישׁ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל עָלָיו לָדַעַת, כִּי הוּא שְׁלִיחַ אֲדוֹן כֹּלEvery Jew must know that he is an agent of the Master of All, לְמַעַן הָבִיא לַפּוֹעַל — בְּכָל מָקוֹם שֶׁהוּא — רְצוֹנוֹ יִתְבָּרֵךְ וְכַוָּנָתוֹ בִּבְרִיאַת הָעוֹלָם[charged with the mission of] actualizing - wherever he may be - G‑d’s will and intent in creating the world — שֶׁהֵם לְהָאִיר אֶת הָעוֹלָם בְּאוֹר תּוֹרָה וַעֲבוֹדָהto illuminate the world through the light of the Torah and Divine service. וְהוּא עַל יְדֵי קִיּוּם מִצְוֹת מַעֲשִׂיּוֹת וְהַשְׁרָשַׁת מִדּוֹת טוֹבוֹתThis is achieved through the performance of practical mitzvos and by inculcating [in oneself] positive character traits.Text and Translation courtesy of Sichos in English
