We had already laid the foundation discussing the importance of going as far back as to Homer where Western civilization's foundations of knowledge begins. The Caribbean as part of the New World and the Americas was reinvented with the coming of the Europeans who were looking an opportunity to dominate and extract wealth in the race to be the leading European country.
