That night – February 29, 1964 – Boone Trail and Angier played a game that lasted 13 overtimes before Boone Trail won 56-54. No basketball game on the high school, college or professional level has lasted as long.

Frank Stewart was a senior guard for the Boone Trail Pioneers and led all scorers that night with 29 points. He graduated and enrolled at Campbell in the fall of 1964, where he played under legendary coach Fred McCall.
