Amid growing concern around young people vaping, this year laws have been implemented regarding the importation and use of vapes in Australia.
Electronic cigarettes or vapes are devices which simulates tobacco smoking. It consists of an atomiser, power source such as a battery and a container filled with liquid. Instead of smoke, the user inhales vapour.
To discuss vaping and the new laws, David Braithwaite spoke with back Shane Varcoe, director of drug and alcohol education organisation the Dalgarno Institute.
