After a stellar career at the University of Houston, he went undrafted and signed with the Texans in 2012. He played his first two seasons with Houston and then spent the next 9 years with the Rams, Vikings, Broncos, Redskins, Browns and Bills before returning to Houston in 2023.Â
In college, Keenum was named Conference USA Most Valuable Player in 2009 and 2011 and still holds numerous NCAA individual passing records including passing yards (19,217) and passing touchdowns (155).Â
