Description: Day 23 of the Omerאַ שָׁלִיחַ אִיז דָאך אֵיין זאַך מִיט דעֶם מְשַׁלֵּחַ[Halachically,] a shaliach (agent) is as one with the person who empowers him. עַל דֶּרֶךְ הַמְבוֹאָרIn this vein, the Sages observe בְּעִנְיָן שֶׁהַמַּלְאָךְ נִקְרָא בְּשֵׁם ה' מַמָּשׁ כְּשֶׁהוּא שָׁלִיחַ מִלְמַעְלָהthat [in the Torah] an angel is actually called by G‑d’s Name when he serves as His agent. וּמִכָּל שֶׁכֵּן נְשָׁמוֹתHow much more does this apply to souls, וּמְבוֹאָר שֶׁבִּנְשָׁמוֹת הוּא עוֹד בְּמַעֲלָה יְתֵרָהfor [when fulfilling G‑d’s will] they attain this [identification] to an even higher degree.וְהִנֵּה חֲסִידִים זַיינעֶן שְׁלוּחִים פוּן רֶבִּי'ןChassidim are the agents of the Rebbe פוּן אַלטעֶן רֶבִּי'ן— the Alter Rebbe. אִיז אַז מְ'טוּט, אִיז מעֶן מְקוּשָּׁרWhen we act, we are bound [to him]. אִיז דאַמאָלט אִיז עֶר אִין אַלץ מְקוּשָּׁרThen, every dimension of one’s being is bound [to the Rebbe]:
