Because, large groups of people from all over the land went to see him and wanted to be heal or deliver. Our subject today is no so much on the early question but about after Jesus ascended to heaven and his disciples were left with the task of making disciples of all nations and basically continue the work that Jesus started including healing the sick and casting out demons etc.... It seems that they were a lots of sick people back...
