Description: Scott Nagy was named the head men’s basketball coach at Southern Illinois on March 28, 2024. He began his coaching career in the late 1980’s with Illinois before becoming a head coach in 1995 at South Dakota State. After 11 years, he moved to Wright State, where he coached from 2016-2024. As a division one head coach, Nagy has led his teams to five NCAA Tournament berths.
