Description: We have 5 battles this week starting out with the battle of Allatoona on October 5th, 1894 which started out the Franklin-Nashville Campaign. The battle of Tom's Brook took place on October 9th as part of the Shenandoah Campaign. The last three battles all take place as part of Price's Missouri Expedition. Price is hoping to draw troops away from the major campaigns out east. The capture of Sedalia was on October 15th, the battle of Glasgow was also the 15th, and the second battle of Lexington took place October 19th. All of these were Confederate victories.
