He had been with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 2020-21 as their running backs coach, culminating with a Grey Cup win over Hamilton in 2021.
Prior to joining the Bombers, Costanza had been the receivers coach for 12 seasons with the Calgary Stampeders 2008-19, winning the Grey Cup three times.
