Tributes have been flowing at news of the untimely death of well known Ballaghaderreen man John O'Mahony at the weekend at the age of 71. In a GAA managerial career of 35 years he managed Mayo twice, Galway with whom he won two All Irelands, Leitrim who he famously coached to win the 1994 Connacht SFC and he was also involved with many club teams including St Brigid's in Roscommon in 1997. He is also a former Senator and TD. Seamus Duke spoke to Martin McGowan from Leitrim about his memories of a GAA legend.
