Description: James, Jesus's brother, is a figure of remarkable faith. This transformation is particularly significant in the cultural context of the time, as the Jews were stubbornly committed to their religious traditions. When Jesus preached a strong message telling people they needed to change their lifestyle, it was a challenge most could not accept, and 'many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him' (John 6:66).
