Description: Activists and academics want to play linguistic gymnastics with the term “paedophile”. The movement is even going so far as to claim that paedophilia should be understood as a sexual 'orientation' and that the ‘stigma’ is making the paedophile the ‘victim’. The danger is that trying to destigmatise morally eroded behaviour generally ends up normalising it. In this episode, we examine the history of this movement and some of the key players.
