Description: Continuing our series, 'Formed', we explore the Beatitudes “Blessed are the merciful”, and “Blessed are the pure in heart”. In this context, we view mercy as a love of God which manifests itself in an attitude of identification with others, that we might be tempted to exclude. We see purity as a singleness of heart, an honesty which has no hidden motive, no selfish interest - in other words, sincere devotion to God.
