Description: In Smile 2, Finn is reunited with most of the original cast, including cinematographer Charlie Sonoff. As it does again, his work on the first movie produced a spooky aura of unpredictability and instability. Sarnoff's framing of photos heightens the suspense of the story, and his use of lighting skillfully creates contrast and mood. Likewise, he skillfully and authentically captures Riley's performances. Sarnoff's excellent work enhances the intensity of proceedings and is eerily engrossing, despite the possibility that the camera may be turned upside-down to create a foreboding impression one too many times.
