Description: Dr. Jenny Hsieh is Professor and Semmes Foundation Endowed Chair in Cell Biology and Director of the UTSA Brain Health Consortium. She has a Ph.D. in Biology from Johns Hopkins University. She runs the Hsieh laboratory, a neural stem cell biology laboratory that focuses on 4 major areas: (1) epilepsy-in-a-dish, (2) 3D cerebral organoids, (3) patient recruitment, and (4) mechanisms of adult neurogenesis.
