Description: Like so many of the 70s and 80s, I had numerous namecheck jingles, singing my name in lush harmonies. Jingle singers must have cursed when presented in their sessions with a list of dull English names to sing over the end of the same track. Mind you, there was nothing quite like listening through to a new package for the first time to see how they’d pronounced your name.
