It’s a no-brainer … at least it should be. Every living man and woman—regardless of race, gender, religion, social status, whatever—has always had natural rights. Each of us is born with a free mind and soul, and natural rights to life, liberty, property, and pursuit of happiness. That’s what the Declaration of Independence means when it reads, “We hold these truths to be self-evident...
