Our first stop will be with the Good Samaritan which is a fascinating interaction between a lawyer and Jesus over what a true neighbor actual is. The lawyer is wanting to know who is his neighbor, which means he wants to know who his neighbor isn’t. In other words, who don’t I have to help or be nice to. And so Jesus sets out on describing what a true neighbor is like.
