Description: Robert Patrick "Rocky" Bleier was a National Football League Halfback for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1968 and from 1970 toΒ 1980.Born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin. Bleier played college football at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend , Indiana, winning a National Championship his junior season. He then graduated in 1968 and was selected in the 16th round of the 1968 AFL/NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, 417th overall.
