This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday.
Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. Singing a song I wrote with the verse melody by John Hughes (CWM RHONDDA, 1907), “Witnesses,” with a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalm 47 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Gospel reading is Luke 24:44-53 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer.
