Our general order comes from the Book of Common Prayer (1979) Daily Office and Scripture readings from the Revised Common Lectionary. Weâll sing the song âWitnessesâ by me (2017) with verses from âGod of Grace and God of Gloryâ by Harry Emerson Fosdick (1930) and offer a Prayer of Confession. Weâll read Psalm 47 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture Lesson is Acts 1:1-11 . Weâll say the Apostlesâ Creed, the Lordâs Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. Weâll then have a time of prompted prayer.
