Our general order comes from the Book of Common Prayer (1979) Daily Office and Scripture readings from the Revised Common Lectionary. Weâll sing the song âChrist the Lord is Risen Todayâ by Charles Wesley throughout todayâs time of prayer. Weâll read Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Gospel reading is Luke 24:1-12 . Weâll say the Apostlesâ Creed, the Lordâs Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. Weâll then have a time of prompted prayer.
