Our general order comes from the Book of Common Prayer (1979) Daily Office and Scripture readings from the Revised Common Lectionary. Weâll sing the song âLike Incense / Sometimes By Stepâ by Brooke Ligertwood, Rich Mullins, and David Strasser throughout todayâs time of prayer. Weâll read Psalm 63:1-8 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Gospel reading is Luke 13:1-9 . Weâll say the Apostlesâ Creed, the Lordâs Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. Weâll then have a time of prompted prayer.
