Description: Luke 7:18-24, in todays Bible reading, we see where John the Baptist, while in prison, sent two of his disciples to Jesus to find out if Jesus is indeed the Messiah, or if they should watch for another. Think of the magnitude of that question. We see in the Gospels the strong faith of John the Baptist as he preached repentance, as he boldly proclaimed Jesus as the Messiah. And now, while in prison, he may have faltered in that faith a little bit. Don’t let your faith slip because you are going through a time of trial.
