Description: Mark 1:40-45. In Matthew 6, Jesus challenges our acts like giving, praying and fasting. He questions if we are doing it to bring glory to ourselves or glory to God. In our reading today, Jesus heals a man who was a leper. He warned him not to tell anyone, but go directly and make his offering to the priest. But, the man disobeyed and told everyone what Jesus did. Sometimes, God gives us gifts that are intended for the world to see, sometimes they are gifts just for us that no one needs to know about.
