Sadhu Meher (born 1 January 1940 in Gurmelipajay village of Boudh Disttict, Odisha, India) is an Indian actor, director, and producer.
He has performed in Hindi, Bangla and Odia films. Graduated from FTTI’s 2nd batch in 1966 Sadhu Meher primarily began his career in Hindi films such as Bhuvan Shome, Ankur and Mrigaya. He is one of the actors who gained prominence in Parallel Cinema in the mid-1980s. He also directed some Odia films. He won a National Film Award for Best Actor for Ankur.
