Description: I was recently contacted by a woman named Mirya Glover, who is Ernestine Hurt's granddaughter. In 1982, Ernestine was brutally stabbed at 202 E. sixth street in Cincinnati, Ohio. Unfortunately, Ernestine would later die in the hospital from her wounds. Ernestine has just become another crime statistic. Other than her granddaughter, barely anyone remembers her. For many years she has tried to get justice for her beloved maternal grandmother. Mirya was just a child when her grandmother was brutally murdered. She told me the loss devastated the family. Mirya’s mother experienced homelessness and became involved with abusive men.
