I do not share the optimism of some who say the Court of Appeal will overturn Vanessa Baraitser’s decision to extradite (if that is what she decides to do). What I do not understand is that the defence in Assange’s extradition trial does not appear to be arguing that you can’t extradite a person from one country (the UK) to another (the US) if the person is unlikely to get a fair trial? Why?
