The Tour de France is almost 3500 kilometres, through the mostly breathtaking Italian and French countryside. There are two individual time trials, and the race is over 7 mountain passes. The fastest speed ever measured down such a mountain pass is 106km per hour. It is a spectacle, but where is the money?
