Description: Christ is our Passover lamb, who has been sacrificed for us, so that the angel of death - the wrath of God against sin - would pass over us: we have the blood that covers our sins (like the doorposts in Egypt being painted with the blood of the lamb). The Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.” This is done for rehabilitative purposes. In this way, the person will repent of what they are doing and change their actions before being allowed to return to fellowship.
