Description: It's my belief that many good Christians are defeated by sin and temptation because they know God's truth in their mind, but it has not yet reached their "innermost being." Put another way, they know the truth intellectually, and may very well believe it to be true, but the word of God hasn't found a place deep in their heart (i.e. their "innermost being").
