Description: Creating or restoring natural infrastructure can enhance coastal resilience for communities and ecosystems.  One of the key sources of funding for this work is the National Coastal Resilience Fund grants program, which is jointly administered by the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).  Since 2018, the NCRF has awarded $90 million to enhance, build, or restore almost 17,800 acres of coastal habitat that have provided enhanced protection to 100,400 properties and 2,500 critical facilities.
