Description: Dr. Jonathan Simm, based in the UK, has responsibility for developing technical capabilities across all aspects of resilience in the water environment (including for engineering structures and assets but also socio-economic and environmental aspects of resilience and embracing areas previously encapsulated within thinking on performance, risk, sustainability etc.). He joined HR Wallingford in 1992 after an early career working with consulting engineers in feasibility studies, design and construction supervision of coastal and maritime works and became a Technical Director in 2001 and Chief Technical Director for resilience in 2017.
