But researchers are on it to see if novel manure products can work to reduce environmental impact while improving a farm’s bottom line. Since 2021, UW-Platteville has been involved in a national project focused on regenerative agriculture. The six-state research initiative is called the Dairy Soil & Water Regeneration project.
