Although chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the fourth leading cause of death worldwide, current management does not alter progression of the disease. This includes knowledge of T2 inflammation in COPD, understanding the clinician’s role in assessing patients for inflammatory types, staying in formed about developing therapies, and adopting strategies that shift COPD management to a more personalized approach.
