Episode: The Forteau "Christmas Tree" has been making sure every child has a gift for decades.
Description: Christmas is coming a little early for children in Forteau. Every year, on December 24th, Santa Claus halts his sleigh at the Forteau Community Centre. He carries with him a bag of gifts to give to every child age 12 and under. The "Christmas Tree" has been a tradition in Forteau for more than 50 years. It's currently organized by the local Anglican and United Church Women, who are Santa's helpers for the big event. Phyllis Roberts and Joan Hancock are long-time volunteers.
