And even though we don't get that much sunshine our capability of generating energy from it has soared by 48% over the past year to 1.7GW. Of that 50% comes from solar farms and 33% from domestic rooftops known as microgeneration. Ronan Power is the Chief Executive of Solar Ireland joined Joe this morning.
