Description: On December 6, 1991, four teenage girls - Eliza Thomas (17), Jennifer Harbison (17), Sarah Harbison (15), and Amy Ayers (13) - were found shot, bound, and inside a burned I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt! shop in Austin, Texas. Two guns (.22 and .380 calibers) were involved, at least three victims suffered sexual assault. Police initially arrested Maurice Pierce, who implicated Forrest Welborn, Michael Scott, and Robert Springsteen. Scott and Springsteen were tried and convicted, but both convictions were overturned after their confessions were deemed coerced and DNA evidence excluded them.
