Description: While Super Mario was my favorite video game franchise growing up, Zelda replaced it pretty quickly once I discovered Twilight Princess and Wind Waker in the late 2000s. Thiis was followed by about a decade of not having a functioning Nintendo system, but when I bought a Switch I mostly played Breath of the Wild and now mostly Tears of the Kingdom.
I'd already written a song about older Zelda games years ago, which I was fortunate to have played on the Dr. Demento show, but every once in a while I'd wonder why I'd spent so much time playing...
