The award winning Danish film co-written and directed by Gustav Moller in 2018 is virtually the same film aside from a few aesthetic liberties. Moller got the story premise from a YouTube clip featuring a 911 audio call from a woman claiming to be kidnapped while her kidnapper sat nearby.
