Jasmine Crockett of Dallas filed to join the Democratic Senate contest that also includes state Rep. James Talarico of Austin. Dallas minister Frederick Haynes III, leader of Friendship-West Baptist Church, on Monday filed his candidacy for Dallas’ 30th Congressional District.
