Description: On 28 May 2018, Laura Mortimer and her 11-year-old daughter, Ella Dalby were found in a pool of blood at their house in Gloucester. Laura had 18 separate stab wounds, whilst Ella had 24. Laura clearly fought for her life and Ella witnessed some of the attack and bravely came to the help of her mother. Christopher Boon, a man with a history of violence, was arrested for their murders.
