His father Bob, played basketball at IWU in the 1950’s. During his junior year, Bob began broadcasting Illinois Wesleyan games as a play-by-play man. From 2001 through 2008 Bob worked as part of the WJBC broadcast team for IWU basketball with legendary broadcaster Art Kimball.
