In the distance, you can see Migdal Eder, a tower hard by where Rachel died and where Benjamin was born, that is now the place where baby male lambs are born and then certified by the Levitical shepherds for sacrifice in the Temple in nearby Jerusalem. But on this night, those same shepherds will be inspecting a baby boy...
