Description: Once, I attended a Joyce Meyer meeting where she did a “baptism of the Holy Spirit” and I heard people around me speaking gibberish. They were speaking in “tongues”. That’s one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have 2 friends who pray in tongues. Sometimes while we’re in a group. The only person who can understand them is God. Which is OK, if that’s their intention. If they wanted the group to understand, there had to be someone else with the gift of interpretation of tongues. Otherwise, the conversation is between the person and God only.
