Â As John Maxwell says in his book, Leadershift, when we grow outward, we are usually motivated by someone else who expects something from you. Â Or, you're trying to reach some external goal. Â But when you are growing inward, we have inward motivation. Â This is better because "growth on the inside fuels growth on the outside, not the other way around."Â
