Jackson has been the head coach for Notre Dame since 2005 and recently helped the Irish play in the NCAA Division I men's hockey tournament for the 13th time in his tenure. Before that, he was an assistant coach for the New York Islanders (2003-04) and the head coach of the Guelph Storm (2000-03) of the Ontario Hockey League.
