Description: As of 18 April 2021 Oliver Scicluna is the current CEO of Agenzija Sapport which provides the majority of disability support services in Malta.
He previously served as both the Commissioner on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (26 April 2014) and as Malta's third MP with a disability, (18 January 2021) becoming one of two MPs with disabilities at the time.
During his time as an MP Mr. Scicluna advised the current Prime Minister Dr. Robert Abela on matters relating to disability rights and was instrumental in passing a law criminalizing hate speech targeted at those with disabilities.
